No, it's not easy to sell timeshares nowadays. The first rule is to not pay any company an upfront fee to sell, rent out, or "cancel" your timeshare. Any company that asks for an upfront fee to do so is a scam.

The next important part is to know what your units are realistically worth on the resale market. Most are worth zero or less.

Advertise your units for sale (or giveaway) on reputable timeshare-related websites such as here on RedWeek, E-Bay, or Timeshare Users Group (aka "TUG"; tugbbs.com).
