I have been an owner from the beginning (1995) and stayed here personally many, many times and it never disappoints. Having a corner unit on the top floor is the greatest experience you can have in this resort. The master suite in this unit is bigger than many apartments and even has its own hot tub and private balcony. With the wrap around balcony off the main living area the views of the ocean, intercoastal water way and the surround area are amazing. They operate a yacht used for dinner cruises down through the intercoastal water way where you can see some amazing celebrity homes and an ocean fishing boat. I have seen it go through multiple upgrades. Units are very spacious and management is world class. Some of the people I have dealt with have been there many, many years. For the times I have rented this unit to others including family, I have almost always been contacted the following year by the renters to see if it is available because they loved staying here and want to come back. Sister properties are amazing also and share most all their amenities including golf. I can guarantee if you stay here you wont be dissapointed....Enjoy

I am a fixed week unit owner for over 20 years. I now live in the area so it is being rented this year. The beach is across the street, great restaurants are in walking distance and tiki bars with live entertainment are a great way to spend the day and night.

Wyndham Santa Barbara is a wonderful smaller resort across Highway A1A from the beach. It has a boutique hotel feel. It is quieter, with a smaller pool. But guest looking for more to do have access to the larger resort amenities and activities at the Wyndham Royal Vista which is beachfront across the street. Afterward they can retire to the quieter pool and environs of the Wyndham Santa Barbara.

This is a luxurious two bedroom two bath unit. The master bedroom is spacious with a large Jacuzzi, HDTV, private bathroom, and terrace. The second bedroom has a full size bed and HDTV, and the second bathroom is off the hallway. The common room is kitchen/DR/LR with its own terrace, queen size sleeper sofa, HDTV and stereo. Washer and dryer are coin operated, and on the floor in a separate room.

The terraces have a southern view. Look right to see the intracoastal and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Look left to see the ocean. Regretfully, we will not be able to use our unit this year and enjoy New Year’s fireworks from our balcony.

Management is excellent with warm staff and exceptionally clean well appointed furnishings.

The property is across the street from the beach and the Royal Vista where guests have rights to use the sister property's pool and beach access. Close to Atlantic Avenue are nearby vendors and shops including restaurants, bike rentals, boat rentals, and deep-sea fishing. Freedom Boat Club members will be pleased to know that their location is next door to Santa Barbara.

The rental is for Friday to Friday for week 52 starting December 26.

We've spent a couple weeks here annually for the past 6 years. We love how spacious and private each room feels. The units are well appointed and fairly well upgraded. Access to the beach and proximetry to restrauants is very good. And, hey, the weather in Pompanio can't be beat in January!

Four point nine stars -- five if on the beach. Big 1BR and 2BR units. Studios are perfect for couples. The 1BR/2BA units are the biggest 1BR units anywhere. Great views of ocean and/or intracoastal waterway, depending on the unit.

Units are clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped (full kitchens, flat panel TVs in living/bedrooms. Alas, no in-unit washer/dryer; they are next to the elevators. Staff is exceptionally friendly and responsive. Big smiles and waves greet you every time you pass through the lobby. Maintenance calls are answered within minutes. Covered parking (free) is adjacent to resort.

SB is not big on activities but the concierge will make recommendations and arrange most anything you want. There is a LOT to do in the metro Fort Lauderdale area -- in addition to gorgeous beaches, you have fishing, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, swamp tours, duck tours, boat tours of mansions/yachts in the New River area, day trips to Miami or the Florida Keys, casinos, jai alai, museums, boutique shopping, outlet shopping, a huge flea market. SB has a small pool and hot tub with a snack bar and occasional live music, but kids will probably find more to do at Royal Vista.

Recommended restaurants include Cap's Place (Hillsboro Inlet area), Malulo's (Peruvian -- great ceviche), Christina's (Greek), Cypress Nook (German), Joe's Riverside (seafood and other), and of course Stinger's, a really good pizza and beer joint that has a lot more than pizza and beer and isn't really a joint (and you can walk home!).

Having been an owner since 2005, I look forward to returning to Santa Barbara every year. It's like my second home! The staff are always so welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The size of the single bedroom and two bedroom units is quite amazing and makes the usual hotel accommodation looked very cramped by comparison. The units could easily be lived in for a long stay quite comfortably, with their two bathrooms and full kitchen as well as a spacious lounge/dining room and two balconies. I would recommend a car to fully appreciate all that this area has to offer, but the great beach across the road and nearby eateries can be reach by foot if you want to. The area itself is very pleasant and feels safe and is undergoing an upmarket revamp, with new restaurants near the Pompano Pier and promenade plus a new Ritz Carlton being built nearby. Of course the sunset Intracoastal cruise and meal on the on-site yacht is well worth a try. I think you have to go a long way to enjoy a more comfortable friendly vacation than Santa Barbara.

My wife and I stayed here 3/11/23-3/18/23. What a hidden gem. We only rented a 1 bedroom, and it ended being huge, and on the top floor. the room had a wraparound balcony, and an additional balcony off the bedroom. We loved it. this property is across the street from the ocean, but they also own 3 other Propeties that you have full access to, one right across the street on the ocean. The staff and management were great, we would stay here again. The area is nice, but not a lot within walking distance, so if you love the beach, great staff, and great rooms, this is the place. My wife and I are younger, and still party a little, so where moving. as planned to Key West tomorrow. I really enjoyed my week here though. We will be back for a few weeks next winter. The pictures of the rooms on Redweek are not accurate, the rooms have been fully updated, and are very modern, those pictures are look nothing like the room we were in.

Just came back from another visit for New Year's Eve week 52, 2011. Several small upgrades have been done in the past year. The studios all have LCD mounted TV - can now watch TV from either the sofa or the bed. The big square fabric & wood coffee tables have been replaced with a smaller wood table. The lobby has a tropical fish tank which you (or the kids) could spend hours looking for all the critters living in it. Pool table in recreation center. Gas grill outdoors for the guests to use. Dinner is now served on the boat and no longer from the Riverside place (which has a new owner). Staff is still the BEST of all the Wyndham resorts.

Having stayed here twice in 2009, I am very pleased to be an owner here. Very quiet with the new patio doors and windows, delightful kitchens & living rooms and beds so comfortable I wish I had them at home. Pool is warm and sunny with pool side bath with showers just steps away.

Limited activities here, so it is peaceful. Beach and full scale Tiki Bar is just across the street at Wyndham Royal Vista. Orientation meeting will introduce outside vendors for daytrips to Key West, Everglades, Miami city tour, scuba trips, and snoekeling trips. Front desk has menus for local food places with free delivery to resort (enjoying lunch/dinners with no cooking). Evening cruise to dinner at Joe's Riverside aboard boat docked here at resort for doing a timeshare tour (or just walk 4/10s of mile to Joe's and buy a real dinner from the full menu for the same costs).

I am a fixed week owner at Santa Barbara. After re opening, everything is brand new. Our one bedroom unit is huge. It must be at least 1100 sq feet. It has 2 bathrooms, which is nice, and everything you need. The best things about the resort are: The pool was heated to around 82 or 83 degrees. Also, our unit has 2 balconies, with 3 patio doors, with great views. Parking is right there and the staff were the most friendly. The only down side is there are not many activities, which we don't mind.

The resort is mismanaged, slow progress with the rebuilding, there needs to be a audit done of the financial affairs, the owners association officers just filed a reinstatement of the corporation docs in Feb of this year for the years 2005,2006 and 2007. The hurricaine hit in the fall of 2005 and the corp docs were not even filed with the state of Florida. The property was either uninsured or greatly underinsured. there are huge special assessments happening ECT. Hope it all gets taken care of. We were told we could use the property 30 days ago for our week of July 13th 2007 The developer told us this while they wanted to collect the first of two special assessments this year of 809.00 each PLUS our maintence fees . Now we are told we can't us the week. Resort personal are lieing. Possible fraud.

Great resort, across the street from the beach, but you can use their sister resort Royal Vista, on the beach just across the street.

They have a yacht available for guest. The resort is located close to Ft. Lauderdale for all the night life. Each unit has a jacuzzi located in the bedroom.

This resort gets redoing every five years and is kept in beautiful and very clean condition. We own week (12). This is a perfect time to go to sunny Florida. The view from the rooms take in the intercoastal waterway on one side and the Atlantic on the other. I find that this Resort puts you in such a relaxing feeling you never want to go home.
