I have been booking weeks at this location for the past 9 1/2 years and love it. I have never been disapointed. The consierge service when additionals are needed, have always been very gracious and prompt. The indoor & outdoor Water Parks are so convienent and really a blast. Plus all the attractions in the area, including Dollywood, Gatlinburg & the Great Smokies National Park, make it our favorite destination over all we have been to. PS - amazingly, if you use the couch hidabed, it is actually quite comfortable.

This resort is close to Dollywood and Gaitlinburg attractions. The resort was clean. Admission to the waterpark is included with stay. There is a golf course onsite also.

We have been Wyndham owners for many years and we just stayed at the Great Smokies Lodge a month ago. We were so impressed with the room, service, amenities, etc. We don't have younger children but took our nephew b/c of the waterpark and WOW it was amazing!!! Never seen a waterpark so elaborate and so many other fun things for children to do. And we went during the off season so the outdoor part wasn't even open. Besides the resort being so nice the location is great as you are in close proximity to so many other excursions, restaurants, shopping, etc. We have already made reservations for next year and plan on it being a yearly tradition from now on.

This is a great place to stay to visit the Smoky Mountains. It is surrounded by great water parks, golf, Dollywood is nearby and the national park is a few minutes drive. Very quiet but near the action.

This is a fantastic resort for a family vacation! The 2 waterparks are great for any age, 1 - 99. Rental includes admission to the water park. Vacations are so much more fun with a full kitchen and washer and dryer in every unit.

Great place to stay, and well worth the price. Something to do for everyone in the family. We stayed in the four-bedroom presidential suite which was absolutely beautiful. More than enough room for the entire family, plus some. We spent most of our time in the indoor water park and arcade. Fun for all ages. I would highly recommend this lodge for your next vacation.

Enough fun right at the resort to keep the young ones entertained all week long. No need to even leave the resort. For the older kids there is Dollywood and tons of activities available in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and nearby areas.

Great place for families. Suites are spacious and comfortable and the water parks amazing.

Great location especially for you golf lovers. 36 holes of championship golf. Also, for the family an indoor water park. A short drive to pigeon forge & dolly wood!! . Go a little further and you will arrive in Gatlinburg .

Wonderfull resort with great fun for the children at the water park. Well kept and clean. Friendly staff.

We stayed at the Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge in July 2017 while on a family vacation to the area. The room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable - complete with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, to make it feel like home.

The resort was spotless and the staff was great. All of us - adults and kids (age 14, 13, 9) loved the outdoor and indoor pool areas. The outdoor lazy river and wave pool were fantastic! Of course, the pool gets crowded so we had to get there early to claim a chair.

The Pigeon Forge area had plenty to see and do! It's not a "fancy" vacation area but we loved our week there!

We love this resort and have stayed here five times now. I have never stayed at the hotel, only the condos and except for a problem on New Years to find that Wyndham guests were excluded from the New Years celebration unless they paid extra, have been extremely satisfied. The new Adventure Forest gives kids some out of the water activities to do and the one price for entire stay for it is a great deal. Between that and the three water parks, they sleep like the dead at night! Being close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is nice, but we typically don't venture out much, maybe a restaurant or two. Great Mexican, Thai and a Chinese buffet all really close(among others) and a big nice Kroger to do some shopping.

For winter stays, we bring everyone's bathrobe and that way riding the shuttle to and from the indoor water park is warm and comfy. We towel off, thrown on bathrobe with hood and jump the shuttle back to our room.

You just cannot beat the value, and if you eat in your condo some of the time, it can be a very frugal vacation. Condos are comfortable, clean and spacious. LOVE IT!

Nice resort. Wyndham shares the location with Wilderness At The Smokies. Wyndham guests have access to Wilderness' three waterparks (one indoor and two outdoor). Easy access from the Wyndham units to the indoor waterpark via an enclosed sky bridge so you never have to go outside. The lazy river waterpark is located between the Wyndham and Wilderness buildings and the other outdoor park is across the street at Wilderness's hotel/convention center. There is a convenient shuttle that runs between both locations. Wyndham units are spacious. We've stayed in a 1 and 2 bedroom. Full kitchens, washer and dryer, jacuzzi tubs. Been there twice and are planning our next two trips. The kids love it. Indoor waterpark has a wave pool, 4 tube slides (two family type, one for double tubes and the other for single tubes), boogie board ride, kiddie pool and the big bucket that fills up and dumps soaking anyone standing below it. There is also a swimming pool off to the side of the indoor water rides. Lots of seating all around the indoor waterpark. Very close to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

I have stayed at this resort two times (a 1- bedroom and a 2-bedroom unit) and both were spotless and roomy. It is new (opened October 2009) and the decor is truly beautiful and different.

It is easy accessible to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg - only a few miles.

It was cold both times I was there so the indoor water park was GREAT.

Everyone was nice and helpful and I'm looking forward to returning.
