Carmel, California
Located on a wooded hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, The Highlands Inn dates back to 1916. Now under Hyatt's management, the resort remains every bit as glamorous with a wealth of luxury amenities at your disposal. Stop by the award-winning Pacific’s Edge restaurant or the casual California Market restaurant for dinner, or grab a cocktail in the Sunset Lounge. Highlands Inn offers countless ways to relax - take a dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool, book a yoga lesson in the morning or schedule a spa treatment to truly indulge. Looking to experience the best of the Carmel area? Let the Les Clefs d'Or Concierge Services help!
The villas at the Highlands Inn keep in step with the luxurious ambiance of the greater resort. Each one- and two-bedroom villa comes equipped with a wood- burning fireplace, stunning views of the bay, full kitchen, LCD TV with cable and satellite, complimentary robes, marble spa bathtubs, Wi-Fi access and iHome stereo systems. Wood, marble and richly textured fabrics add a distinctly upscale feel to these roomy villas.
The Big Sur area is a mecca for people who embrace life and new experiences. Be it the perfect sunset, or the meal of a lifetime, you'll find countless opportunities to create new treasured memories. World-class golf lies within just five miles of the resort, and those looking to experience the true grandeur of the Pacific will delight in nearby areas offering kayaking, sailing, scuba diving or surfing. Of course, there's a number of varied attractions as well. Consider checking out the Monterey Bay Aquarium, historical Cannery Row, Laguna Seca Raceway, Point Lobos State Reserve, John Steinbeck Center and Bixby Creek Bridge.

Marriott Vacation Club
Marriott, a world-renowned hotelier, entered into the timeshare business in 1984. Through their timeshare division, called Marriott Vacation Club International, they have developed exquisite timeshare properties in the most sought-after destinations around the world. In 2010, Marriott introduced Marriott Vacation Club Destinations, a timeshare points system.
Marriott Vacation Club's resorts are often large and provide guests with the amenities of home - including one to three bedrooms, living and dining areas, master bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen, in-unit laundry facilities, and often private balconies.
Most Marriott owners have access to the Marriott Rewards program, which allows owners to trade their weeks in for points that can be used at other Marriott resorts and hotels, as well as other travel-related services.
Note: This program may not be available to owners buying on the resale market. Please check with Marriott before purchasing to confirm all benefits.
Marriott also operates:
- Ritz-Carlton Club: Marriott's fractional ownership club, with a group of even more luxurious resorts.
- Vistana Signature Experiences: Encompassing the Sheraton and Westin resort brands, Vistana Signature Experiences offers stylish villas in some of the most sought-after destinations.
